The Calumet Area Deaf Mission meets at South Side Christian Church. During the week, we have Bible studies for Men and Women. On Sunday morning, our Sunday School is held in room 17 at 9:00 a.m. and our Worship service is held in the library at 10:15 a.m.
Services for the Deaf are in sign language, while hearing members of their families can go to the hearing Church for the "signing impaired."
The reason we are called a mission is because we are supported by many individuals and area churches. (South Side Christian Church is our main supporter.)
If you know any deaf people who are looking for a church, please tell them about us. Beginning and intermediate sign language classes are available. Feel free to come and visit.
